Sound of Silent Film 2010

I do a lot of work for Access Contemporary Music, an organization which promotes new classical music. The next couple posts include imagery created for ACM's concerts and events.

"Brock, by Odin!"

I've been wanting to draw Brock Samson as Thor for a long time and Gallery 1988's Adult Swim show was the perfect opportunity. At 20" x 28", this extra large screenprint is bursting with muscles, mullets, rainbows and white hot pants.

The show opens tomorrow, Jan 13th at Gallery 1988 in L.A.. Apparently, some folks are already camping out in front of the shop.

Young Adult Poster

I'm really excited to post this new poster. I was commissioned to make this poster for a secret pop-up screening at Chicago's Music Box theater of the upcoming Jason Reitman/Diablo Cody film, "Young Adult". Each audience member received one. We got to go to the screening and there was a great Q&A with Jason, Diablo and Patton Oswalt who co-stars in the film with Charlize Theron. Thanks to Jason from Delicious Design League for printing the large run!
